"Packed Well and Arrived Safely"

"Looked just like the listing photos"
I ordered from cbreptile.com it looked pretty much just like the photos. The color, pattern, and size were all about what I was expecting, which was a relief because you never really know with stuff like this.
It’s always a little nerve-wracking buying without seeing it in person first, but this one lined up well with what was shown. No weird surprises or anything, so I’m happy with it

The prices seemed fair overall, but not the cheapest compared to a few other reptile sellers I checked out. If it’s a reptile you really want, the value is still okay, but once shipping gets added, it starts to feel a little pricey compared to what others are offering.

"Shipping took way longer than I expected"
I placed the order thinking it would show up within the usual timeframe, especially since I was trying to get everything ready before the weekend. It ended up arriving much later than expected, and the waiting got frustrating after a while. The reptile was thankfully okay when it finally got here, but the whole shipping delay was definitely stressful...

"Super easy to use"
The site was easy to get around, and I found the reptile stuff quick. Checkout didn’t throw any annoying nonsense at me either, which was nice. it was smooth overall and not some clunky pain in the ass.

"Pretty decent overall, I think"
Ordering from cbreptile.com was straightforward, and the animal showed up in good shape, which is obviously the main thing. I’m not totally sure if it was just a busy week or what, but the shipping updates felt a little slow, and I ended up messaging them once just to check in. Overall, I’d say it wasn’t a bad experience at all, though I do think the customer service could probably be a bit better

My order showed up packed really well... nothing was damaged, and there wasn’t anything loose rattling around inside. The box felt sturdy, and everything looked like it had been kept safe during shipping. happy with how they handled it...

"Refund took forever-ish, but they did fix it"
I had a problem with my order and originally asked for a refund. It definitely took more emails than I ever expected, and I am 100% convinced time actually slowed down during the process, so yeah, that part was annoying.
They ended up offering a replacement instead, and it finally showed up in good shape. Overall, it wasn’t a disaster by any means, but it also wasn’t the smoothest thing on earth. If something goes wrong, I’d absolutely say be ready to wait a bit.

My experience was okay overall, but the updates were a bit slow and sometimes came later than I expected. Communication wasn’t bad, just not as quick or proactive as I’ve had with some competitors, where I usually get clearer updates without having to wait as long

"Made it here, just looked a little rough"
The lizard did arrive alive, so that’s good, but he seemed weak the first day and didn’t look all that great. I guess shipping can be stressful, so maybe that’s just how it goes, but I was still a little worried at first.

"Sent the wrong animal and hard to get any response"

I ordered a bold leopard gecko for my daughter's birthday, also figured I should order meal worms so I could feed him right away. He showed up but was not a leopard gecko! From what I've been able to figure out he is a western fence lizard which isn't even listed on their website!!! Do not order from them, they arent responding as of now and I'm now stuck with a lizard we didnt want and out almost $300 😡

"Live arrival guarantee was frustrating"
i mean, my reptile did show up alive, but it was definitely in rough shape. I reached out about the live arrival guarantee and the replies felt slow, plus it kind of seemed like they were trying to find reasons not to help. I understand there are rules and all, but they weren’t very clear to me until after there was already a problem. Maybe other people have had better experiences, but this left me annoyed.

My order showed up with the wrong item, which was frustrating. I was expecting the thing I actually paid for, so having to sort it out was just annoying... not the biggest deal in the world, but still.

"Excellent Experience and Healthy Hatchling"

I purchased an eastern painted turtle hatchling from CBReptile, and the entire experience was top-notch. I had concerns about shipping a live animal, so I reached out before ordering. They responded quickly and reassured me that a biologist inspects each turtle before it's cleared for shipping. They also explained that the turtles are packed appropriately for the climate they’re being sent to and shipped overnight to minimize stress.

Shipping ended up being delayed by about three weeks, but CBReptile kept me updated with weekly emails, letting me know that their biologist hadn’t approved the turtle for shipment yet. I really appreciated the transparency and the fact that they prioritized the turtle’s health over speed. I'd much rather wait a bit longer if it means a healthier animal.

When he finally arrived on 4/30, he was alert and active right out of the box. He’s tiny, about a 1-inch shell, but full of energy, an excellent swimmer, and has a healthy appetite. He seems very happy and is thriving.

Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and the care they show for the animals is obvious. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommended.

“The reason why you didn't receive any shipping information is because they are a scam company that doesn't follow their own rules. They may not even have the reptiles that they sold you and are waiting for them to hatch or will find them anyway they can without regard to the animal's health or the customers wallet.”

“Seems legit. I'd still recommend a small scale herp breeder. I just received my baby blue iguana from cbreptile. Wasn't super impressed with packaging or animal condition (dehydrated upon arrival, only in transit barely a day, makes me question husbandry situation), but he is a beautiful and friendly specimen.”
